  I can not recommend Dr White. She is not a competent Dermatologist. She appears kind and thoughtful but she examined an area on my nose three times during 2016, and ressured me that it was fine. This assessment was made by her after I made multiple appointments for the sole purpose of my particular concern. She failed to listen to my concern and was reluctant to do a bippsy even with my history of skin cancer. I finally insisted, and sadly, she never called me with the results. I had to myself all and hear that it was cancer. I had Mohs surgery that was 7 hours at Baystate. I am left with a significant scare because the basal cell was so extensive. This was the second time for the exact situation 5 years ago. I gave her a second chance. Her lack of professional protocol created serious damage.

  Dr. White is always kind and thoughtful of her patients. She examines thoroughly and explains her diagnoses very well. As I have aged, I'm more and more happy with this approach. I recently was concerned with a tiny area on my nose and made an appointment. She examined the area and decided to biopsy even though it was most probably actinic keratosis. The biopsy was painless and she sent me home with instructions on care of the area and enough supplies. She explained that results would take a week. At precisely the week point, I was called to give me the results. It was negative and I didn't need further surgery. If I had, she would have sent me to a surgeon who practices tissue sparing techniques. How great is that?
